Sat. night

Inside now, cooked up a feed for myself, eating that, and updating this.
Had a play with the govenor shaft, almost finished again now, needs a little spacer collar still on one end. the Governor mechanism works really well though, at 710 rpm in the lathe, I'm wondering if the biro spring I had planned for the throttle rod linkage will be strong enough... will certainly close down a carby nicely. better get in this week and make the levers, etc, so I can try it out. Thinking about carbies, too, I wonder if we can get away with a little diaphram type, like on a wipper snipper, or similar.. its a big engine, but only low RPM.
