monday night, Late.

Just opened my mail to the news that my friend, In brisbane has his 1/4 scale waterloo boy engine running! I'll ring tomorrow, Arthur, and ask if I can have some pictures for here. Hopefully tomorrow night I'll have the time to update my web page pics of our model too, as a few have been asking. Thanks for that, I'll do it as soon as I can.

Well, time flys, huh? seems like this year has gone so quicky. I haven't been in the workshop for a while, except to do my BHI stuff, and there is barely enough time for that. BTW, I got 72% for my lesson 1 practical work, and 93% for my theory. I'm ok with that but could be much better.
Other than that, i'ts just been work and sleep,although I've spent some money on tools. got a three dog mandrel for my 8mm collet lathe, a protable rotary diamond lap, a wax brass collet, a set of pivot drills. getting set up now.:-)
So no progress on the JD, very little on anything else.

I did also buy an Ipod for work, (mp3 music player) and it has a FM band transmitter, so it plays thru the car radio to a vacant FM station. its great, I couldnt recomend them more. only downside is the price, but you're only here once!
Ill have to keep this a bit more up to date, so ill try and post some pics links, etc later tonight as well.
